Wann erfährt quentin lance wer arrow ist

Arrow will welcome back an old friend in Tuesday's episode, titled "Reset," and we simply cannot wait to see Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) back in action in Star City. But is he really back, or is The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) played head games with Oliver (Stephen Amell) again? It's very hard to tell what's real these days...

In this exclusive sneak peek at Lance's return, Oliver seems incredibly out of sorts at a party at Palmer Tech -- yep, you read that right -- where he meets up with the mayor of Star City. Said mayor just so happens to be a totally alive and kicking Quentin Lance.

Now, unless Oliver finally got conked on the head one too many times, we're very much buying the theory that this world is an alternate universe created by The Monitor, and Lyla's (Audrey Marie Anderson) whole story about being a double agent is a load of crap. But if it gets us our beloved Quentin Lance back, then is it really such a bad place to hang out?

David Ramsey, who directed "Reset," teased that Blackthorne stole the show in his return, telling TV Guide, "I think Paul was brilliant, brilliant, brilliant in this episode. There are things he had to do and create -- a character to not only service his own arc but also the larger arc of Oliver's -- and he did it just brilliantly. I thought he was incredibly in this episode."

Arrow airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW.

++ Update vom 04.11.2019: Und nochmal ein Comeback. Wie TVLine berichtet, wird auch Paul Blackthorne für Staffel 8 zu Arrow zurückkehren und das sogleich für mehrere Episoden.

Wie Showrunnerin Beth Schwartz in der Vergangenheit bereits angab, soll neben dem Staffe-8-Auftakt und dem Crossover keine Episoden mit einer Parallelwelt in Verbindung stehen. Das stellt das Publikum vor die Frage: Wie kann Blackthorne als Quentin Lance zurückkehren? Lance starb bekanntermaßen am Ende von Staffel 6 als er Dinah Lance rettete.

++ News vom 04.11.2019: Das ist die Rückkehr, auf die alle gewartet haben: Emily Bett Rickards kehrt für das Arrow-Finale zurück. Das bestätigte Stephen Amell via Twitter.

In den kommenden Monaten würde man viel über das Arrow-Finale hören. Er bevorzuge es, wenn man es von den involvierten Personen selbst hören würde. Deshalb endet er seinen Tweet mit "Willkommen zurück, Emily."

Bekanntermaßen war Felicity-Darstellerin Emily Bett Rickards für Staffel 8 nicht zurückgekehrt. Amell äußerte sich in der Vergangenheit dazu, dass es ihm persönlich zwar auch lieber wäre, wäre sie nicht gegangen. Aber er könne seine Kollegin sowohl von professioneller wie auch von privater Seite aus verstehen. Ihr Vertrag hätte nur noch das Finale von Arrow Staffel 7 abgedeckt und sie hätte sich eben dazu entschieden, diesen Vertrag nicht zu verlängern.

Seit dem Finale von Staffel 7 hat man von Felicity somit als nichts mehr gesehen. Und es dürfte auch noch bis zum Finale von Staffel 8 dauern, bis es ein Wiedersehen gibt. Das ergibt durchaus Sinn, bedenkt man, was der Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) gegenüber Felicity zuletzt sagte.

Gemeinsam mit der erwachsenen Mia und dem erwachsenen William besuchte Felicity das Grab von Oliver. Dann erklärte ihr der Monitor, dass er sie zu ihm bringen könne, es aber keinen Weg zurück gäbe. Sie antwortete, dass sie bereit sei.

Seit langem halten sich Gerüchte, Oliver Queen könnte am Ende von Arrow Staffel 8 sein Leben lassen, ob nun im Finale oder schon zuvor im Crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths. Womöglich sieht die Realität aber auch anders aus und es ist, wie der Monitor sagt: Er befindet sich an einem Ort, von dem es keine Rückkehr gibt. Das muss in einem Multiversum nicht zwangsläufig der Tod sein. Ob er auf einer parallelen Erde gefangen ist?

Anfang 2020 werden wir es erfahren. Nach einer kurzen Pause zum Jahreswechsel und dem Crisis on Infinite Earths-Crossover geht es für Arrow auf die Zielgerade.
