Which of the following organizations makes on-site visits to inspect medical office laboratories?

I work for an emergency department in Oregon as an ER Technician. I hope everyone is staying safe out there with the craziness of Covid-19. I am thankful for my training and medical assistant certification through the NCCT allowing me the opportunity to help others during this crisis our country and world is now experiencing. Stay healthy.

I work for one of the best hospitals in the world. Well, I like to think so. Working during this pandemic not only made me realize how precious and unpredictable life is, but also made me proud of being a medical assistant. Doctors depend on us all the time. I am so proud of me today!

Thank you to NCCT for preparing me for the future. Twelve years ago I made the right choice for me.

I want to say thank you to NCCT for helping me in becoming a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician. I was able to acquire a great position with a hospital in Nevada. After Performing skills in Phlebotomy, upon completion of my internship, they have taken me in as one of their own!

My name is Lisa. I am a National Certified Medical Assistant. I cater to the cardiac community of Polk County. I take pride in my NCCT certification.

Obtaining my certification has helped me save money on school, gain great experiences and has provided me with an opportunity, in my current great environment, where I get to do what I love everyday – serve and save people by making sure they are educated before they go home after cardiac procedures and surgeries.

My name is Urshala. I’ve been a Surgical Technologist for seven years and certified through NCCT for four years. My life is truly changed for the better since I’ve started my career. Being able to help surgeons change lives everyday is such a blessing. I recently started 1st Assist school and I can’t wait to move onto an even more challenging and exciting new role. During these testing times that we are living in right now, I just love being able to encourage my OR teams and fellow workers to stay positive - that we will over come. I love what I do with a passion, that’s why I do my job with pride. So, I celebrate surgical tech week with all of you that choose this field with me - with social distancing, of course! Enjoy your week guys!

My name is Tracy and I have been a Surgical Technologist for 26 years, and certified through NCCT for the past 4 years. I have had the pleasure of teaching and learning throughout my entire career and when covid hit earlier this year it brought forth unexpected challenges in the operating room. I took the opportunity to organize a surgical hand scrub booklet, complete with pictures, To help in understanding the difference in hand hygiene vs surgical hand scrub.

My wife and I are traveling NCCT surgical techs. Before the pandemic we were training new surgical techs in a small rural Nebraska hospital. We were scheduled to travel to UW Madison Wisconsin hospital, but due to covid all contracts were canceled. We returned to Nebraska to continue training on our own since our traveling agency had no assignments available. We recently started a contract at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, California, in what would be considered a hot spot in today’s description of covid times. We are monitored daily for any symptoms and work a busy schedule due to the shut down for three months. It’s hard being 1,800 miles from home in an area where covid is spiking, but we all know everyone needs to be given medical attention. We pray for the day to come that this disease is a thing of the past, but for now, we will continue to do what we were chosen to do.

My fiancé and I are travel techs from Philadelphia. We were on assignment in Round Rock, Texas, just weeks away from fishing our contract and starting our next contract in San Diego, California when covid-19 hit. My fiancé is expecting in October, so she hasn’t been working because of covid. We are currently living in Gastonia, North Carolina and I could only get a job in Fisherville, Virginia, which is 4 hours away. So I do 3 12-hour shifts and stay in Virginia for those 3 days. That means I’m away from home while my fiancé is home with our son who is 5 and doing home school. It is really hard on both of us but we are trying our best.
